Dismiss a finding when it doesn’t need a code change, instead of leaving it open. Dismissing records the reason, giving reviewers visibility into what was considered, and showing that the finding was deliberately dismissed rather than simply missed. Dismissing shows a strikethrough on the finding’s title, changes its state to Dismissed, and collapses the detail panel to just Dismissal reason, including any explanation you gave. If Qodo can’t complete one of these updates on GitHub, the portal shows Finding dismissed with incomplete GitHub updates and lists what failed. The finding stays dismissed either way.
A dismissal cannot be undone.
You can dismiss it directly in the pull request, or in the Qodo portal.
A finding can also be dismissed using chat, or directly from a connected coding agent using the Agentic Toolbox.

Dismiss from the pull request

Dismiss and View only appear on open findings. Resolved, dismissed, or outdated findings don’t show them.

This routes you from the PR to the Qodo portal, directly to this finding. If you’re not already signed in, you’re prompted to sign in first, and this link requires Qodo portal access.
  2. From the drop-down menu, select a reason, and optionally add details in Explain your reasoning.
  3. Select Dismiss finding.
  4. Select Back to PR to return to where you left off, or stay in the portal on this finding, with the detail panel open.
