Code Completion

Qodo Gen's Code Completion helps speed up your coding by reducing the need for repetitive tasks such as copying and pasting code from the internet.

It learns from your codebase and suggests real-time code completions that fit your writing flow.

How to enable Code Completion

1. Go to Qodo Gen's settings. You can find out explanation on how to do that in our Extension Settings documentation.

2. Find the checkbox next to Code Completion.

3. Click the checkbox so that a tick ✅ appears in it. Code Completion is now on.

Using Code Completion

As you type, Qodo Gen analyzes your code in real-time to grasp your intention, and then presents code completions in a grayed-out format directly in your editor.

The suggestions aim to complete your line of thought or offer snippets that fit the context of your work.

To accept a suggestion press the Tab key. The completion will be inserted into your code.

Customization

Customize Code Completion to match your coding style by adjusting Qodo Gen Extension settings. This helps ensure that suggestions align with your project needs and preferences.
