# Data sharing

Similar to other popular generative-AI tools, Qodo transmits code snippets to our servers. You can learn more in our [terms of use](https://www.qodo.ai/terms) and [privacy policy](https://www.qodo.ai/privacy-policy).

  Team and Enterprise users are opted out of Qodo’s model training by default. Free users can opt out on request.

If you're on a Teams or Enterprise plan, you're opted out of model training by default. If you're on the Free plan, you can request to opt out.

#### To opt out

    Go to Account Settings.

    Toggle the **Data Utilization** switch off.
