# Configure Custom instructions settings in the Qodo portal

> Add free-text instructions to guide how Qodo behaves during reviews, from the Custom instructions tab of the Qodo portal's Configurations page.

The **Custom instructions** tab lets you add free-text instructions to guide how Qodo behaves during reviews. Click **Save** after completing your instructions.
