# About the docs

> An overview of the newly introduced Qodo docs portal and how content is organized.

This page describes how the Qodo docs portal is structured, what has changed from the previous version, and where to find content that has moved.

## What changed

### Versioned docs

Documentation is organized by version (Qodo 1.x and Qodo 2.x), accessible through the version picker in the menu bar to the right of the logo. Qodo 2.x is the default.

All documentation, except Qodo 1.x, is located under 2.x. Content is organized to reflect the Qodo AI Platform code review experience introduced in Qodo 2.

  Qodo 1.x was formerly known as Qodo Gen and is scheduled for deprecation.

### Changelog and What's new

Two reference docs have been added:

* Changelog: A versioned record of all changes in short, bulleted lists. Useful for tracking exactly what was included in each release.
* What's new: Highlights from a release, covering the most significant changes. Releases without notable highlights will not appear in What's new.

### Migration to Qodo 2.x

Dedicated migration documentation is available, including a step-by-step guide and a migration FAQ.
